Multi-tenant unit (MTU)
Multi-tenant unit access is a snap with Prolynx
Internet. With speeds up to 10Mb up and
downstream, we can provide you with a complete
solution for your office complex, hotel or
apartment/condo complex. We will provide
everything from the site survey, equipment installation,
circuits, Internet access, system management and
customer service for the end user.
It's a Win-Win-Win situation
One better than a Win-Win situation
is our win-win-win situation. With our
scenario, all three parties win. That's right, the
tenant, property manager and Prolynx
Internet are all winners.
The Tenant
The tenant
wins by getting a faster, cheaper and more stable
connection to the Internet.
As an
end-user, the tenant is where the final service resides.
Residents are tired of dial-up, especially when many web
sites are geared around high-speed browsing. The
tenant has many options for broadband (as long as it is
available in the area.) Other than dial-up, the
tenant can choose from three residential grade broadband
solutions; cable, satellite and DSL. Cable boasts
the fastest downstream of 3Mb, but is limited to 256k
for upstream. Satellite is OK if you have a
southern facing mounting point for your dish and offers
a fair downstream but limited upstream. DSL boasts
the best upstream of 1Mb but is only half the downstream
of cable at 1.5Mb. These broadband options are
available in the $45 to $75 per month range.
The Property Manager
The property
manager wins by offering a faster, cheaper and more
stable connection to the Internet for their tenants (in
many cases when other services are not even an option.)
Property
management has a duty to their tenants and to
themselves. It is in a property managers best
interest to make sure that tenants have as many
amenities as possible. A property manager has no
control over where broadband companies make their
services available. However a property manager can
control their own services. Installing a broadband
system on the property is a best option for management.
The Hospitality Manager
Hospitality
managers win by offering a service that is demanded by
guests. Not having Internet access in guest rooms
is like not having telephone service in guest rooms, it
just has to be there. Without Internet access in
guest rooms, the guest will simply stay elsewhere.
